SIMON PATTON translates Chinese literature. He lives with his partner, two cats and Sealyham the Terrier near Chinaman Creek in Central Victoria, Australia. An essay on Yu Jian appeared in Australian Poetry Journal in 2014, and his translations of five poems by Yu were published in Renditions 84 in 2015. He recently spent two months in Tuen Mun, Hong Kong, as translator-in-residence at Lingnan University.
