KENNETH CHAN is reading for a BA in English Literature at Durham University, where he is the President of the English Society, the student representative for English Studies, and has edited and written student publications. Kenneth is primarily interested in the variety of perspectives in the fluctuating East/South-East Asian political landscape. Academically, he is interested in the representations of Hong Kong's 1997 handover and 1990s diaspora in literature, and the event's continuing social and political effects.

Kenneth is a research assistant on the Asia Literary Review staff.
