David William Hill was a recent writer-in-residence at Red Gate Gallery in Beijing. His fiction has appeared in several journals, including [PANK], Hobart, J Journal, Cimarron Review, and Cha: An Asian Literary Journal, among others. He was also assistant editor for the oral history book, Underground America: Narratives of Undocumented Lives (McSweeney’s, 2008.) A native of the San Francisco Bay Area, he now lives in Hong Kong.
