The Path Between

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Where the river bends I’ve made my home

Sauntering quotidian on the towpath

From Hammersmith Bridge, clad in green and gold

To Barnes Bridge, steel-grey-painted;

The colour of the water beneath.
