A Trunk Call, Colombo

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We learned to say trunk calls,

long-distance minutes with

the lost boy or uncle in England,

 

mufflered, sharing a bed

and hot-water bottle with a girl

from Southampton, or Leeds...
